Not only is it super convenient that I can go before or after a workout but Dr. Alvarez really takes the time to assess the area of concern and outlines a treatment plan for overall wellness as opposed to a quick fix, instant relief body cracking. I’ve learned different stretches and workouts to specifically strengthen and correct any pain/discomfort and improve my overall posture.”

“Recently, my partner and I visited for a celebratory couples massage. The receptionist was very friendly, and offered some water for the both of us upon signing in. Compared to most massage places I’ve been, I have to say this was a very untraditional massage, but relaxing nonetheless. For example, for both my partner and I they tuck the sheet that covers you into your underwear. Also, they mix hot stone, reflexology, and deep tissue massaging techniques. I’ve never had a guy massage me before so I was a little nervous but Owen did a fantastic job making me feel comfortable every step of the way. The music was tranquil and at a great volume. Out of their control, the other guest were just really loud and like clomped around at the end of their session so when you go, definitely try to be quiet when entering and exiting. The rooms are structured like doctor rooms but aren’t completely closed off (see picture), which is why you can hear quite a bit during your session. We paid $120 for two people. Overall, we enjoyed our experience! If you go and can request someone, definitely ask for Owen!”

“We did not end up choosing Chaparral, but really liked it. It was spotlessly clean and fully staffed (staff seemed to be everywhere). The rooms we were shown were ample, fresh and new looking (as if they'd just been painted), and sunny. Their in-house PT rooms and dining rooms, etc., also look clean, neatly organized, and just about perfect, really. Our tour host was Pasca, the marketing director, who was genuinely warm and funny and made us all feel at home immediately. I particularly noticed the change in my 94-year old father's demeanor. He went from being anxious and a bit grumpy to joking and laughing. He really liked Chaparral and we would have moved him there but he's instead moving out of state to live close to family.”

Later I chose her when I needed a cardiologist. She is personable and caring. Her office is polite and knowledgeable.
