I am old, over weight and spending an hour four times a week training and it is really helping with my cardio, flexibility, strength, stamina and weight loss. I am new to Jiu Jitsu and everyone at the academy is supper friendly, from the students to the professors, and they all really want you to succeed. The professors are great with demonstrating moves and submissions and then there is about 30 minutes of rolling (sparring or drilling) which is amazing cardio. At this point, I am lucky if I can do 5 minutes of rolling but I am told, 'keep coming back and it gets easier'. I am off to class, hope to see you there.”
