“For me, this was the perfect alternative to CrossFit. Istvan is hands down the best instructor/coach you could ask for and a genuinely nice guy. Olympic lifting is highly technical and potentially dangerous if you do it incorrectly without proper form. In the CrossFit gyms I’ve been to, form is an after thought and you’re constantly being pushed to lift heavier weights, faster and for more reps at the expense of safety. Here, Istvan will make sure you’re doing the movements properly before allowing you to go heavier. You might feel like you can go heavier, but it’s so much better to progress intelligently and minimize the risk of injury by having proper form and and ensuring you have the requisite strength before increasing the weights. The atmosphere is great. The people who train here are great. I’ve trained with Istvan both privately and in the classes. Private is great if you can afford it. If not, the morning classes are a great way to go and you still get plenty of individual attention. To his credit, Istvan could have easily expanded his business by farming out the instruction to capable lieutenants, but he has not. So, by coming here you get the opportunity to be trained by an Olympic medalist. It’s been a privilege to train with him.”

“Thanks to Austin helping me, my golf game has made tremendous improvements. Prior to seeing Austin I was barely getting the ball off the tee box and now I am able to consistently hit irons. Additionally, Austin does a great job of making sure your swing is unique to your body. They don’t try and make you switch it entirely but rather work with what you are physically able to do when swinging.
