I was really scared going in thinking I had to get dentures but they reassured me that with 2 cavities that I wouldn’t need to. They also brought two friendly receptionists up to me to explain the costs of my next appointment which I really appreciate from a financial standpoint because jail was starting to sound like a good option with their free dental. “It is very hard to find doctors that dont make you feel embarrassed for bad decisions you've made in your past. She gave me the chance to explain and she showed in her eyes how much she understood. I had a colonoscopy and the throat scope (forgot fancy name) the same day. I was terrified! Went through each step trying not to cry right before they put me under and Dr. Lam held my hand. “I have been battling bilateral labral tears in my hips for the past year or so. I was at the end of my rope, and was very close to having surgery after failed steroid injections, physical therapy, rest and finally gave in to taking otc pain meds daily. That alone was very hard for me to do. I feel it’s a bit dramatic, but it was really affecting my quality of life. I couldn’t play with my 2 year old, hiking and running were my favorites and I had to stop both. I heard of Dr Timmermans from a FB group I was in, and called the office shortly after. I ended up getting PRP injections in both hips, and couldn’t be happier with my results this far. It wasn’t the most pleasant procedure, but he was so kind and kept asking how I was the whole time. I would do it again 100x to avoid surgery if I had to. I am happy to say I just ran for the first time after my procedure (6ish weeks ago) pain free. And today just got done hiking a mountain while carrying my 40lb kid, so far so good! Thank you to everyone there, you guys are doing great things.
