Lake Pleasant Regional Park

This is a great place to spend some family fun in the sun.

The weekends can be a bit packed, but the water is always clear. I've been several times, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding. The scenery is just great and very relaxing.

With so many people though it can be a bit loud depending on where you are at. Some people tend to leave trash in the lake, which I've seen while swimming, but not nearly as bad as I've seen in many other lakes.

I've even made trips during the week to see how much different it was. It was nearly empty most of the day. So if you can swing it go during the week rather than a weekend.

Just be sure to bring a lot of sunscreen.this is a great place for some outdoor adventures.

How very fun it was to go to lake pleasant and play in the sunshine and water all day. Beautiful lands with saguaro cactus and clear water. Must pay for day use when entering but it's not too expensive. The guy was very friendly at the pay station. Overall plenty of space between people and plenty to explore, kayak, boat , hike, swim, whatever your heart desires.

Great place to go! If you want water the lake is awesome. If you want off-road adventures, this is a great place to have some adventure. Back road to Crown King which is not for the faint of heart. Many have tried and failed. My dad has gone with his Jeep and he said it was intense. Need something that can rock crawl. Good times
