Ashley was such a great support person during my pregnancy and labor! Throughout pregnancy, she was a great resource to have for me, but also for my husband! With this being our first baby, it was nice to have someone in our corner who we could reach out to with questions. During labor, she was a calm presence and fit in beautifully with the atomosphere my husband and I created as I labored with our son. Thank you, Ashley, for all of the support you gave us!

I was somewhat hesitant to hire a doula for my third baby (second VBAC) but I’m so glad I did. I believe having a doula is essential to having a successful VBAC, and any birth in general! Ashley was very knowledgeable and had lots of evidence based info on VBACs and birth altogether and I appreciated the reading materials that she gave me even though I was a third-time mom I found it very helpful. I feel like I could ask her anything and she would confidently have an answer. During our birth, it was a quick one but she was there to reassure me along the way and was nonjudgmental in my decisions. Her calm voice and peaceful demeanor was so helpful, and without her I don’t think I could have achieved my dream VBAC, but I did! Even though there had been a slight mishap during delivery and with one of the Doctors, I loved how she brought this up to me in our postpartum meeting to discuss it. It helped me process through any unwanted feelings I had towards my birth. Ashley covers it all- from before birth, during, and after, she is such a well-rounded person to have on your side. I would highly recommend her as a doula

Throughout my prenatal appointments, labor, birth and postpartum visit with Ashley, she was always a calm and nonjudgemental presence. When needed, she reminded me that I was in charge of the decisions made for me and my baby and during labor it was the simple things that she provided that made me more comfortable through the different sensitivities I was going through.

I'd recommend her to moms or family looking for additional support in their birth experience.

Ashley is incredible, attentive, and understanding. My wife and I did not have the easiest pregnancy and our son was breech. Ashley was there every step of the way and available 24/7. Although things did not go how we had planned, because of her of guidance and experience, we felt comfortable and confident with the options we had before us. Highly recommend and you would be lucky to have her.

I met Ashley early on in our pregnancy journey, her knowledge experience and calming aura led me to chose her after our first meeting. My husband and I were fortunate enough to have her as a birth educator for our class of other expecting parents where Ashley educated us even more and got to showcase her thought provoking lessons and meticulous education which helped us prepare our birth plan and really think about what we wanted in our birth & postpartum (and subsequently help us to plan and be okay with things not going to plan).

For our actual birth Ashley was there with us literally every step of our marathon birth. It put me at ease to be able to call and text Ashley during early labor (before we were sure is was the real thing). Ashley gave us guidance and advice for coping during early labor and then when things progressed she came over to our house and helped us decide when it was time to go to the brith center. At the birth center she pulled out all the tools (massage balls, fans, etc) and was a strength I used to anchor to. 24 hours later Ashely was still with us when we were transferred to the hospital and this is where she really shined. The hospital setting was entirely different than the birth center and my husband and I really valued her input and support. Ashley was a calming force, a sage of birth and hospital jargon, and a sounding board for my husband and me as we weighed decisions. I could not imaging our birth experience without Ashley.
