  Hem and Her Bridal are utterly wonderful. They helped turn my mother's 80s style wedding dress, which had been massively stretched out at the cleaners, into a beautiful modern gown for my own wedding. Joyce has been such a gem to work with, and she was quick to help and so willing to transform my dress. You are in good hands if you choose Hem and Her.

  Joyce is maybe an actual angel.
  
  My little sister is getting married and I’ll be her MOH. I was DREADING looking for dresses, and trying on dresses, and then having some Barbie do alterations and fittings. I just knew I was going to be miserable, as plus size women tend to be in these situations, and I’d end up settling on whatever my sister wanted as it’s her wedding.
  
  And then we met Joyce, who is funny and endearing, and just one of those people who makes you feel like things are going to be okay. The store is calming and inviting and warm. After a short conversation about what I was picturing and what I was comfortable with wearing, we found a dress in the wrong color, with sleeves, and the wrong waistline but I was in LOVE with it the moment I put it on. So Joyce ordered the dress in the correct color, completely changed the top of the gown to be strapless, lifted the waistline, removed some layers... SHE LITERALLY BUILT ME MY DRESS. from top to bottom, to make sure I was happy and comfortable and felt as beautiful as the dress she made is.
  
  Her husband, Marv, has been excellent as well. From day one of this wedding dress journey he’s been right there to make sure all the people wearing suits are set and ready and as well-tailored as the people wearing dresses. And always with a witty comeback to all the inevitable jokes made while going through fittings.
  
  And we’ve purchased a wedding dress, 2 bridesmaids dresses, and two COMPLETE suits, all with alterations, for less than just the wedding dress (before the beautiful alterations Joyce made to it) at another shop.
  
  I have nothing but great things to say about Hem and Her. So thank you, thank you, thank you. I appreciate everything you two have done over these months to make sure Em and Joey’s day is perfect ????

  Our entire wedding party went here for our wedding attire. They were very attentive through the entire process. We were very pleased with the 1st class service we were given from beginning to end. I can't say enough good things about them. I was really nervous and the owner even did a shot of scotch with me to calm my nerves. I highly recommend this establishment

  Great service, great people, great prices. I had a wonderful experience and will use them again. Highly recommend for any occasion. Truly what a small business should be. They take care of their customers.

  I absolutely loved my experience looking for a bridesmaid's dress at Hem and Her with the owner Joyce who did her best to making the bride feel less overwhelmed by asking the right questions and providing just the right amount of choices. She was also very patient and calm while the bridesmaids took over the entire backroom.
  
  The place is definitely disruptive, there's a big dirt lot of free parking, a boho-esque (yes, I made up a word) front yard, and what appears to be just a storefront; however, when you walk in there's a room to your right filled with tuxedos of your choice, the main area with costume jewelry and other fancy stuff, a wall full of wedding dresses and then to the left another room filled with other dresses for prom, evening wear, and other special occasions. Joyous and her husband, I assume, were amazing and keeping a room full of ladies pretty tamed, focused and helped us make decisions. They even treated us to a shot of tequila or scotch in crystal shot glasses of course to take that edge off.
  
  Joyce is different in that she takes her time to assess each of our body types without us even realizing it, then she brings out a myriad of dresses and hands them out to each of us, based on whatever you want and she feels would fit the most appropriately. This provides an opportunity for the bride or whoever's there observing to have real life dolls to choose from LOL.
  
  She is definitely quite knowledgeable of what needs to be done to make a dress fit just perfectly. It is my understanding that alterations are included in the price of anything purchased from Hem and Her.
