One of the premier areas of the Tucson metro to conduct landscape photography and draw inspiration for paintings.

This trail is not an easy one only because of the elevation gain over a short distance but the views of tge tucson valley are stunning and worth the effort. The first mile is pretty easy but at about 1.25 mules in it starts going straight up with switchbacks and a narrow trail. Its a popular trail dispite the difficulty so be prepated to see lots of other people okn the weekends. At about 1.85 miles in theres an amazing spot to walk out on and take pictures of the canyon.

Great iconic Arizona hike, easy to start great place for photos and filming but if you continue the full length of the trail be prepared for rapid elevation and difficulty- bring plenty of water! Don’t be one of those people we see on the news!
