When the orthopedic surgeon told me I needed my left knee replaced, the second phone call I made was to Marana Physical Therapy. Having used MPT twice before, there was no doubt in my mind what group I was going to use for the rehabilitation. Jerry, Connie and the whole team are the best in the area. Always made to feel welcome and genuinely happy to see you, it makes the experience much more tolerable. After a short discussion and evaluation, a plan is put in place to maximize your time during each visit. At every step along the way, you’re kept informed as to what is being done and the reasons for that. With exercises that should be continued between visits, the staff will help you figure out a way to complete them at home … since most of us don’t have the exact furniture like they do at the PT office. Let’s be honest, Physical Therapy is tough, but it’s a very important part of the healing process. Having caring and concerned therapists, like the folks at MPT, helps a lot. They want you to succeed and get back to a normal movement and use of your body. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants the personal touch provided by a very dedicated group of folks. Thanks again.

I have been a patient at Marana PT for a little over 12 years. I trust nowhere else. Jerry is amazing! He has treated most of my bodily
injuries, sustained from work, to auto accidents, to an equestrian mishap. Jerry and Connie have an insurmountable amount of experience to take on any rehab challenge. The staff has been very good to me and the office is extremely clean. I will always recommend this facility and staff hands down. They really do work to get you back in the fight at any level!

I’ve been going there now for several weeks for chronic shoulder and foot pain. The staff is extremely professional, experienced and friendly. They put me in an exercise regimen that dramatically relieved my pain. I was frankly very pleasantly surprised that I would experience that much relief in such a short period of time. I would highly recommend this facility. I have been to other physical therapy places in the past. These folks are a cut above.

The group at Marana Physical Therapy is amazing. I chose them by chance because of their location to my home but I am excited to refer them to others because of the professionalism and personable staff, the warm and friendly environment and the skill and care of my physical therapist, Jerry. From the beginning, it was important to him that I understood what my shoulder was going through, why it felt the way it did at that particular stage and what that entire joint went through as a result of the injury and the surgery itself. This helped tremendously when it came to me understanding what each exercise he recommended was designed to achieve. He is very knowledgeable and always took the time to answer any question I threw at him. He talked me off of my ledges when I would become frustrated with pain or periods of small improvement and helped me maintain focus on my ultimate goals. PT is as painful as everyone said it would be but Jerry's personality is the perfect balance of skill in knowledge of technique with a good dose of wit and humor so the sessions are actually tolerable, even enjoyable under his care. I always felt like my exercises were tailored to my personal needs and the warmth and friendliness of all of the supporting staff insured that at no time did I feel like just another basic shoulder rehab. All of this sounds good and pleasant but I haven't even talked about the results. I had a chronically painful shoulder for years prior to the injury that resulted in surgery so I was sure my bar was set much lower than that of my physical therapist and I believe I even told him so. I am very thankful he didn't listen to me!! With his skill, encouragement and specific course of treatment, I am enjoying mobility that I have not had in decades. Great care, warm and genuine environment AND amazing results, this is an easy one, I highly recommend Marana Physical Therapy!

What I find most useful is Jerry's approach. He explains why you are experiencing pain and through an evaluation every time we meet he modifies treatment and exercises guided and at home to make rehab as quick, but more importantly effective as possible. The best part is he listens, and his vast experience allows him to prescribed the proper treatment, and with minimal loading which has helped me because it minimizes pain while still getting rehab in. Everything he has suggested has improved my mobility.
I met with Connie and she helped me with posture as well as explaining how adding a support pillow would help. Her explanation was thorough focusing on what you should feel and where to know you are in a proper posture. I found this incredibly useful, and it feels really good.
I recommend them to anyone having mobility issues.
