The staff here is simply amazing! This is the second time I’ve met the sweet staff here. The first was with my sweet Margo who was having an emergency situation (turned out to just be gas, thank goodness!) The staff was so caring, gracious and helpful. I came back today to bring some goodies and information about Lap Of Love veterinary in-home euthanasia. Don’t ever hesitate to take your sweet babies here!
I am very pleased with the staffs dedication to keeping me calm and level-headed during my Charles last day. Unfortunately he passed in my truck on the way there but the staff nonetheless treated him as if he was their dog. Through what I could get out around my hysterics they worked with me and provided the comfort I needed to get through the day. Charles was by my side for just over 20 years so I had been expecting it for quite some time but no matter how prepared you are to lose a loved one the reality of the moment always hits like a Freightliner and the staff was there for me to help carry that emotional load. Thank you all very much for everything you do.
I took one of my Frenchies to see Dr. Spencer for a limping problem. Not only did she address this problem but she also noted that her nose was the worst on a scale of 1 to 4. I had taken her sister with her as well and she actually did a physical on her in the lobby and checked her nose as well which was just as bad. I scheduled them both for surgery and was honestly very worried about it but Dr. Spencer made us feel at ease and explained everything to us in a clear way. Her assistant Shelly was on top of everything from returning my emails to my phone calls. There was never a wait. Their surgeries actually came out to less than the deposit that I had left. That was a wonderful surprise. I can’t say enough about this place. I am just so thankful that I took my pets here. Luna will be going back for elbow surgery next month and I am completely at ease about it now. it is very obvious that they care about your pet and not just a dollar
We have brought 2 of our dogs here for euthanasia over the past several years and both experiences were so respectful and caring. They have a special room with access to the outside, and they will give you as much time as you need to spend with your beloved pet before they perform the procedure. They will bring special treats to offer in your pet's last moments. It is very clear how much all the staff care about you and your pet during the most difficult time you will face together. I cannot say enough to convey how much their caring and compassion meant to us during both of our experiences.
My miniature poodle was mortally wounded when viciously attacked by a pit bull, with six bites over his body, head, and throat. He is nearly 14 years old, and was bleeding severely from his neck and throat. This Veterinary Hospital saved my dog's life, absolutely amazing! They did such a terrific job! He was in ICU overnight and they took great care of him, able to come home the next day. I've always heard of and have experienced outrageous veterinary expenses, but this hospital was very fair and good to us on our pocket books, without taking advantage of any unnecessary extra expenses. Two weeks later they removed the staples, all for no additional expense. We are so pleased with their services, and highly recommend them! This Hospital was a blessing to us!
Additional note: Warning to ALL local Tucson residents! There is a high amount of pit bulls used for fighting in our area that end up in a shelter, and someone adopts them, not knowing what kind of trouble they really have. They are minimally tested at the shelter before released. The one that attacked us was also adopted from a local shelter. These shelters are NOT testing well enough, and just release them when they "think" they passed the test. That pit bill also bit me twice. PLEASE be very cautious from these animals on the loose! Recommended to carry pepper spray with you at ALL TIMES! Report any and all incidents to the Pima County Animal Care, who are very terrific in taking care of any problem animals. Thank you!
