Such a fun and friendly environment to learn some more advanced cooking techniques. I love cooking but have never taken any class before. There were three of us in the class and we all got to prepare one of the dishes used in the final meal. The food we made was unique and allowed for some new techniques to be learned. Equally helpful was having Marti there to ask any questions. She was so helpful and friendly with even my most basic questions. I would definitely recommend if you are a snowbird looking for something to try while in Tucson, or anyone like me who wants to learn and watch a professional chef in the kitchen.
I love, love, loved this class! I learned so much. But more than that, It made me excited to cook, a miracle in itself. Mardi is fabulous! Funny, creative, knowledgeable, patient. She makes everyone feel so welcome. There's no skimping on food, from great steaks and fish to delicious deserts. And a lovely meal after 3 hours of cooking...just great. We even had food to take home
I took the 8 week gormet basics class and it was the highlight of my week. Do something nice for yourself. Take this class!
Marty & Bob are amazing.... From the moment we walked into their home/cooking school we felt relaxed and ready to learn. The time flew by with all of the knowledge they shared with us. To finish the evening we sat around the table and broke bread and enjoyed the fruits of our work and education. Take a class....I promise you will want to go again!
