  TLee Public Health Center is wonderful! The front office staff are caring and very efficient. The nursing staff are welcoming and compassionate. Always willing to answer questions. This is a walk in clinic with no appointments, so you have to be early. Sometimes there can be a wait, but the wait is worth it because I always get very comprehensive compassionate Care.

  I had an extremely positive experience utilizing the services provided at Theresa Lee Public Health Center. I have been jobless and living without health insurance since February 2019, and I needed an immediate refill for birth control. I was referred to the health care center by a very good friend—I went into the clinics walk-in hours an hour before the walk-in hours began (walk-in hours were at 8am and 12:45pm). I was seen at 12:50 by NP, Marta Silva, and I am grateful for people like Dr. Silva. She is very knowledgeable and a huge advocate for women; and people in general. She genuinely cares about educating her patients, and left me with knowledge that debunked false information that I previously had in regards to plan b, birth control, and the entire female reproductive system. Dr. Silva is a God send; I plan to continue utilizing the services at Theresa Lee Public Health Center, even when I get health insurance, due to people like Dr. Silva. The only downfall of coming to this clinic, is dealing with the ladies at the front desk. They seem to really dislike what they do; and I judge that based on how they speak and talk to the patients. I felt belittled and even questioned by the front desk—when I didn’t have money to pay for the birth control and services the clinic provided. If you can get past the below average customer service at the front desk, I guarantee you’ll run into great, educated, kind, and caring medical professionals in the back.
