Just cancelled my upper-endoscopy procedure, the administrative staff were less than helpful. I understand that this isn't uncommon in the medical field, but when going in for your first procedure needing anesthesia there are certain expectations. I have been around the block, but never have I felt more like cattle than with the administrative front desk worker at the endoscopy surgery center. Never have I felt this much reticence due to administrative incompetence. Not greeting a client, no eye-contact, smug attitude, not answering simple questions, answering questions never asked, generally negative demeanor... not great attributes of any staff at any establishment. Just like any other situation, this is a business, hire people that will represent your business well (and not turn away clients with incompetency and irregular behavior)
