On our 11:45 Sunday shuttle ride, he showed genuine empathy toward those who could not fit on the shuttle and reassured them the next would come promptly, communicated well as to which lot was next on the route, and went the extra step of carrying luggage to the individuals’ vehicles as he wished them well. “Initial Contact: Gal who scheduled appt. was polite, efficient and had a sense of humor. APPT. Dr. Small did a multifaceted exam on me to address a complicated syndrome that included a MRSA infection. He did more in 17 min than any other ENT had done in over a year. Others were only interested in selling me hearing aids. Dr. Small was interested in what was CAUSING my hearing loss and infection: bad dentures. Yes, I do need hearing aids, but Dr. Small was aware that causes had to be addressed first,and took time to interface with me; to talk with me, not at me. HB , Retired AMA Lic. “Fantastic gym I kept coming back to for day passes during a prolonged visit to Tuscon! It's a local gym that has a friendly atmosphere, doesn't get too crowded, and has everything one needs for the beginner to the serious lifter. The vibe was motivational with great quotes and pics placed throughout the gym. There were equipment and attachments that a lot of gyms lack which was cool to find here (i.e. glute ham raise machine, hip thrust set up, chalk, 3 power racks, mag attachments, etc). Definitely would come back!”

“Not going to lie, I wish we had gas prices like this in Phoenix. The parking lot always provides entertainment and people watching opportunities. There is never a shortage of homeless community or the world's oldest profession in the north parking lot. (A worn-down woman in a leopard-print outfit that is smoking and drinking as she climbs into a car that just pulled up, all before noon ... not pretty. To you in the Mazda, shame on you.)”

“Our experience with Arizona Homestead is very positive. The Trask family and staff truly care for their residents. Everybody was very sweet to Mom, treating her almost like family, with friendly banter, but firmly taking care of things. I have witnessed several occasions where somebody on staff would go out of her or his way to please Mom, or just to comfort her. The two houses (‘Ocotillo House’ and ‘Homestead on 18’ next door) are set up like family homes, with a comfortable atmosphere immediately when you walk into the front door. And they always smell nice of whatever next fresh meal is cooking in the kitchen. If you are looking for an assisted living facility that provides personalized care in a friendly, engaging setting, I would recommend Arizona Homestead.”

“Food was good, price was fair for the restaurant being majority of seafood. The menu also had burgers and chicken tenders if your not into seafood. The staff was friendly and attentive. The drinks are great, we got complimentary chips and salsa. They refill the chips and salsa when we were low with out us asking for it. They had live mariachi playing when we were there (Saturday 1:00pm). Hope you enjoy it like we did.”
