“When my Aunt Jane could no longer live independently at age 80, I was the "sainted nephew" who, along with a wonderful niece on my late Uncle Art's side of the family suddenly dropped everything we were doing to help move Aunt Jane. I had a full time job and 3 little kids in Arlington, VA, and I had to make a quick decision on selecting a safe and caring place to move my Aunt Jane. On one Sunday I visited 5 or 6 adult care homes in Tucson. As I arrived at Connie and Helen's at the end of a long day, I was pretty discouraged about the previous homes I had visited. But I was immediately impressed with Connie and Helen's Sunset Manor. One of the half dozen ladies that lived there was Olive, Connie and Helen's own Mother. That made a huge, positive impression on me as did many other aspects of their positive home and the apparent loving care they gave to their senior lady residents. I was quite impressed with their family room which had an artificial Christmas tree decorated for Valentine's Day! Connie and Helen said the tree got redecorated for each major season or holiday, to help keep their residents oriented to the time of year! Loved that! And my Aunt Jane, who lived there the last 5 years of her life, often remarked about what a lovely place I had moved her to, with Connie and Helen's adult children, grandkids and pets visiting regularly, which my Aunt Jane loved. She had never had children or pets, but she often told me how wonderful it was to be around so much activity, yet she could always go to her quiet private room if she was tired or needed a break. I highly recommend Connie and Helen's Sunset Manor!”

Gave me the correct size cover up shirt w/o asking my size. Suggested a cover and later escorted me to the nurse station & since she was not there she stayed with me & gave me a warm cover & drink until the other nurse returned. “Interesting remote RV park on what appears to be a former mining area? Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly spots. Some are full hookups, some are dry camping. Community center, trash dumpsters, washroom showers, central fresh water spigots for the dry campers. Seems to be an interesting community of folks that return year after year. Staff was very friendly even to those that showed up without a reservation or prior notice. They found us a spot for a couple nites per our needs. Cell signal is poor for TMobile and Verizon, slightly better with ATT. RV area is rolling ridges and steep sections, this is not a flat RV park. The access road from paved hwy was 7.9 miles of washboard sandy dusty dirt so be warned.”

“I just have so many great things to say about this school. I just want to say first that my son has done so amazing since he's been going there. My son has been to many schools, such bad experiences. He went to about 5 different schools including home school. He was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism at a young age and so school was difficult for him. He struggled so badly in the other schools not just with the curriculum, but with other student and staff. His teachers did NOT have the compassion and dedication at other schools. I was hopeless and just so crushed by the other schools. I heard about Picture Rocks Elementary from someone and nothing but great things to say. Especially for children with learning disabilities. I moved out to Picture Rocks mainly so my son could have a chance to excel in school. I was feeling hopeful. Since then my son has done so amazing at picture rocks elementary! He has done so well in so many ways, every area of studies and socially! The staff and teachers are just amazing at Picture rocks elementary!!! I highly recommend PRE for your child. It's worth it.”

We are a pizza loving family and when we first had Fiamme Pizza at the farmer's market we knew we had to have them cater our wedding. Scott and his team showed up and showed out on our big day. From the appetizers at our cocktail hour to the dinner buffet everything was perfect. The timing and pacing of the buffet was great and the food was absolutely delicious. We had several local guests ask us where their brick and mortar was because they couldn't wait to have Fiamme again. It was so cool to have them in the reception space with us making pies in the wood fired pizza oven. Their prices are very fair and they will not disappoint. A Fantastic BBQ, For all the Residents free of charge, only thing you have to bring is a desert to add to the hundreds that are there! Thanksgiving is a true feast! Again , bring desert to share and a side dish and you'll be stuffed just like the bird! The clubhouse is so much fun, pool table with TV for watching Sunday football or whatever you'd like, workout room with tv, a quiet area to just sit and read if you'd like, a computer to surf the web and do some shopping, a banquet hall that'd used for various celebrations, a library, Full use of 2 very large pools and jacuzzi with showers- the lap pool is heated and the bigger pool closer to clubhouse is not heated but very refreshing and fun to hang out and watch the grandkids, kids, family play! There is a basketball court, playground" bbqs, and on the Pantano Vista side, a quick 3 minute drive, there's another heated pool, very nice, with chaise lounges, showers and a beautiful landscape to boot. Mount Lemon and the Rincon mountains are practically in your back yard (see pictures) Don't forget there's Christmas light decoration contest, where you can win cash-real cash (we've won, ummm I think it's the 4th time but never #1... Yet ;) Just drive thru our gates, security runs 24 hrs a day and see what they have to offer. You will be Happy you did!!!
