“I would recommend this dental office for anyone looking for one in Sahuarita! My son just started going to this office and everyone is very friendly and you can get appointments fairly fast. My son went to remove a couple teeth and he was very nervous due to past bad experience with another office. Both the dental assistant and dentist did an amazing job making it as comfortable as possible for my kiddo and letting him know what was happening every step of the way! Thank you”

“Dr. Hood was out yesterday for the first time. I have two horses with cancer. She and her assistant Bryanna were professional, careful, kind and caring. I cannot say enough good things about them. Just the best.”

“I would have to concur with all the reviews posted so far. She is definitely one of the best physicians my family has seen. We started visiting her office when our oldest was born almost a decade ago. When our 2nd came along years later, it was a natural fit. When she relocated from Carondolet which was ~10 minutes away to TMC, almost an hour away, we immediately followed her to underscore how good we felt about her caring for our kids. We probably would have stayed with her until she retired if we didn't relocate to another state. We highly recommend her as Pediatrician for your little ones. Her level of empathy is great and she works with the parents to find the best solution for the children (i.e. more of a collaborative approach than authoritarian).”

“I have been a patient of Dr. Talavaev’s for fifteen years and he was great. However, for the past year, I have been unable to contact his office via phone. It doesn’t even have voicemail! You have to literally drive to their office for anything-medicine update or release, appointment making, etc… Today I arrived at his office to check on an appointment because I had written it down incorrectly and needed to check on the actual time of the appointment. I arrived at eight, when they open (it says so on the building) and the door was locked. I waited ten minutes…still locked. I returned to my car and called the office again, no answer. I contacted his emergency line and told them that I just needed to reach the office to see if my appointment was right now (clearly it wasn’t since everything was locked). She said their office hours were 8-4 on Fridays and they should be there. There was a car parked in the back of their office too. So it is now 8:15 and I tried the door again and knocked. No answer. What has happened to this office? What if I had an emergency because of an accident close by? Aren’t doctors offices supposed to serve the community at all times when they are supposed to be open. Ridiculous! Update two days later… I received an automated reminder via phone about the appointment that was today. To be clear, Dr T is not the problem with this office. He is a caring, thorough and kind man. I still don’t like that we can’t call in, but maybe using the patient portal may work best. The situation of making appointments via phone seems to be beyond his control.”

“The providers and staff are AAA plus. They care about their patients and this is not a mill like some of the big pain offices. They call patients back promptly not a week later. I recommend Dr. Patel and his associates to anyone looking for caring and compassionate pain specialists. They are innovative and use advanced techniques.”

“After taking my daughter for one free trail lesson, she was hooked. Great coaches that motivate and inspire the kids to work hard and remain focused on the training while in a friendly environment. Unlike other mix martial art forms, my daughter is actively rolling (sparing) every practice. This gets her used to the real force that she may experience in a real life altercation. Would recommend Inverse JJ to any family interested in getting their kids involved in a activity that keeps them active while learning a useful skill that they can carry the rest of their lives.”

“Awesome place in a nice family oriented community. Pool is gated and connected to an air conditioned community center that has restrooms. In the parking lot every Thursday from 5-8 is the Bloom Farmers Market which has fresh produce, cheese, baked goods, dog and cat collars with leashes and bow ties and bandanas. They also have jewelry vendors, pony rides, knife and scissor sharpeners, tote bag vendor, apron vendor, metal decor, decorative glassware, scented fragrance and really good food vendors.”

“If you don’t elect for surgery, all a doctor or nurse practitioner will do is prescribe medication based on the severity of your phantom pain attacks. There is no discussion on the cause of the attacks, as doctors simply state that they don’t know. The “Cure,” they say. is the surgery. I was told by one doctor that having refused to undergo surgery, I was choosing to accept phantom pain attacks for the rest of my life, and that all he could do was prescribe medication that would hopefully limit those attacks. After six years of attacks consisting of one-second shocks, I suddenly had an attack consisting of six-second shocks coming at me every twenty seconds for over 36 hours. I wanted to know if this was unique to me, or if there were similar cases my nurse practitioner or my doctor could tell me about. The nurse practitioner said she knew about six-second shock attacks but couldn’t discuss them due to confidentiality issues with her other patients. I had never heard anything so ridiculous in pain therapy, explaining that I was interested only in general information on multi-second attacks—how common they were, and if they would continue. Again she claimed confidentiality issues with her other patients, and clammed up. Naturally, I dropped this young woman, and met with my doctor at the next meeting. He told me he hadn’t a clue how I had gone from having one-second shocks to six-second shocks, that so much was unknown about nerve pain. He was also unable to tell me how common it was for people to develop multi-second shocks—a statistic I felt might be useful to people like him, especially in predicting if patients would continue to have multi-second shock attacks in the future. The more questions I asked, the angrier he seemed to get, so I decided to move on from him too. I feel I will have a much happier relationship with my current nurse practitioner, Angela Marton. She’s very bright; she actually listens, and if she were in her late seventies (like me), I’d ask her out on a date.”

“Excellent in every way. Follow up from office staff very efficient and friendly, the facility seemed to be state of the art, clean and Alexandra did a great job cleaning my teeth. Best of all the teeth cleaning didn't hurt, it wasn't scarey, and my teeth haven't felt this sparkly in a long time. I was so impressed I booked an appointment for myself in another 3 months, and booked one for my husband as well as a new patient.”

“This place helped my brother so much. This was his 3rd rehab center and I felt like there’s no hope for him. The approach here was different. He was treated with dignity and respect and I think that makes all the difference in the world. He has maintained his sobriety with their continued support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”
