“Mother feels safe at Copper Canyon. The one story locked facility has large clean airy rooms, comfortable regular sized bed and chest for each resident, and friendly caring staff. Mom is offered three excellent and healthy meals plus two snacks a day, and has a variety of activities. I feel welcome and staff knows who I am. If Mother has a health problem, her doctor and I are both notified. The executive director, Juan, listens and will actually act on requests. Mom is 40 minutes away but I would not move her for the world.”

“Our condo was clean when we arrived. There were some simple maintenance issues that needed attending. The pool and hot tub were great and all of the grounds were lovely. The gas grill worked great and so did all of the other appliances. I do think that they should provide more recycle bags up front for guests staying longer than a few nights. We stayed a week and needed like four. The staff was lively and helpful. Over all we had a great time!”

“Pros: You are greeted by very friendly, considerate receptionists who do their best to accommodate you. The office is clean and we ll-appointed. Scott, the director of the facility is very knowledgeable and has taken special training in dealing with pain, which he uses to your advantage when dealing with whatever your physical issues are. Connor, who plans to become a physical therapist, but at this point is a PTA, is very simpatico and compassionate, talking great joy at any progress you make, for much of which he can take credit. . Cons: I was a little concerned when I watched the rags with which they clean the benches and suction cups be dropped on the floor and then picked up and reused. There was an issue with appointments being changed without consulting the patients. I began to think my mind was going when this happened for the fourth time, even though I had entered each one in my calendar... twice!. Then, I heard another patient complaining of the same. It turned out the Office Mgr. was not communicating with the rest of the staff. One of the receptionists suggested that I have put in my chart to not change the appointment without consulting me. After that, there was no problem. It is my understanding that the director has fixed this problem, but if you experience it, I have a feeling letting Scott know right away would be a good idea.”

“Mom and Dad Place couldn't have been more relevant, helpful and nice in recommending the service needed and one of their independent living facility for our uncle who's 74 and needs a little extra care but is still very active. Looking for just the right place can be overwhelming and time consuming, and they removed confusion, saved us time and pointed the way for the right place and location in town that fit his lifestyle and budget. My only "criticism" (and it's really not) is that I asked for emails only -- no phone calls -- and got calls regarding updates, etc, I might be my fault as I completely forgot to list my email, since then they updated my record and get emails. AMAZING PLACE”

I also do pilates and it's one of the few places with reformers and offers multiple classes a week!
