  They're making a difference in people's lives. Hoping it will continue. There was a time the actions or lack of them from this agency worried me. They shined during covid and my then favorite behavior health agency flunked out. This type of place should step up and help each person where they are in life. Not allow them to feel bad about themselves. Horizon is still taking care of their people by following the mandated rules in a way that allowed their clients to still have their needs met. And you know what? None of them got sick!! Physically or mentally.

  Dr. Ellington is the most amazing psychiatrist my son has ever had. I would recommend her to anyone! Dr. Martin is an amazing asset to this office. I had an experience with the front desk being very rude and I also had an incident where my son had an appointment and I went to check in and the lady at the front told me that I couldn't have my appointment anymore because they had been trying to contact me to get paperwork accomplished. Out of the blue I was blindsided that day and I told her my son's appointments and medication are integral to his mental health. She didn't care then I proceeded to tell her about his condition and what happens if he doesn't have his medicine. She left and went to the back and Dr. Martin came up front and took me to the back and he had me sign paperwork and he was very empathetic and caring towards my situation and after I was done with Dr. Martin he had me have a seat in the lobby and I was called back for my son's appointment. I don't care for the front desk receptionist because I have had numerous times where I wasn't happily greeted or felt like I mattered but other than that the staff and people are amazing. Dr. Martin and Dr. Ellington are amazing in their line of work kudos to them!
