  One of the holiest pilgrimage spots on this continent. I'm giving it five stars because five hundred isn't an option. I don't think they really need my review though 😀

  After a serene, Grace-filled walk through the beautifully landscaped grounds of St Anthony's monastery, one ends up at the bookstore which is filled with all sorts of items from books and icons to jewelry to delicious goodies which, not only edify about Orthodoxy (the Christian faith which hasn't changed since Jesus Christ established it on earth 2000 years ago) but also gives one a "taste" of the culture of the peoples who live a truly Orthodox lifestyle. Here, one can also speak with monks who are most gracious in their love and very happy to answer any questions.

  The Sisters and the Priest there are wonderful, kind, and caring people. If you like to experience a bit of heaven, this is the place to be. But be prepared for deep spiritual prayers and a lot of hospitality.

  I loved it! Monks are so kind and loving. It's free although I suggest a donation (can be left in bookstore). There are beautifully landscaped grounds, orchards, 7 churches, most are open to the tourists to visit on a self-guided tour. Bookstore has lots of interesting books, trinkets, jewlery, and food, most made at the monastery and most is organic.
