I ordered a brand new players strat online and played it for a few days knowing it needed a professionals touch so I searched online for a local luthier to take care of the job. While I am still a beginner, I could tell an immediate difference in the playability of the guitar after the set up I got here. He did an amazing job and and all of my current and future guitars will spend some time in this shop to get the set up they deserve. She looks great and plays well above my skill level.
Just had a great interaction with Glenn. I had a pickup problem on a guitar, and he fixed it on the spot at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend him, and will certainly use him again when needed! Thanks Glenn!
Great use of my afternoon. Went in to get a new nut for my ESP, he fashioned a bone nut for me. He also fixed my pickups, and told me about one part that needs replacing (my 3 position switch) Glenn is obviously an experienced guitar tech, and he has a clear love of these instruments, and I got to hear some cool stories and learned a lot about my instrument.
I was referred to Glenn by a friend - had him do a setup for me and was really impressed with his work. He made a new nut for the guitar on the spot to resolve issues with its intonation. The instrument plays great now! This guy knows his stuff and really loves what he does. I'm an active gigging musician with an arsenal of guitars and will definitely be bringing him more work!
I needed my son's guitar fixed quickly because he had a lesson tonight, and one of the strings didnt sound right at all. I know nothing about them, and my son is a beginner. I googled "guitar shops near me", and I was so very fortunate to have called Glenn. Went right over, and he identified that the neck was actually bent, due to poor manufacturing! Only a month old, no wonder my son has having problems tuning it and was getting frustrated all while trying to learn chords! Glenn got us adjusted as good as necessary for tonight, but we both knew it would be best to send it back. He hooked me up with a contact that would taken care of us in selecting a better quality guitar. Totally great guy, knows his stuff, I think we found our "go to" guitar guy. Thanks a million Glenn! And SUPER reasonable on what he charged. No reason to go anywhere else for tuning or repair. If the kid gets good and sticks with it, might have to have Glenn build him a custom one! :)
