Tri-City Cardiology

My appt was in the middle of the day (1:30) and I was still in and out in an hour! They were very busy but I never felt forgotten about or like I was just another name on the list. I was extremely anxious for this appointment and appreciated how friendly all the staff and doctor was. Thank you!

After experiencing chest pain and pressure, and a trip to the ER twice in the middle of the night, the attending ER physician referred my wife to see a cardiologist right away. Tri-City Cardiology is right across the street from Banner Ironwood so we made an appointment with Dr Joshua Cohen. He is a Stanford graduate and completed medical school at UCSF, one of the top five schools in the USA. After a few tests, Dr Cohen recommended an angiogram where they can look at blood flow through your heart. We asked if he would do this himself or if he would be referring us to a specialist for this procedure. He said he has done thousands of these and he would do it. The angiogram showed a 95% blockage of the RCA and Dr Cohen placed a stent that completely fixed the blocked artery. My wife feels great now and has no more chest pain or pressure. If she had not had this procedure, it would have progressed very shortly to a heart attack or worse. Dr Cohen’s expert care and training saved her life and we cannot thank him enough. And the staff at Tri-City do a great job, too! If you need a cardiologist, Dr Cohen is simply the best in the Phoenix area. We are truly lucky to have him in AZ!
