Compassion Christian Academy

If your child struggles this is not the school for you. I thought private schools are supposed to help kids who struggle in larger school environments. Also, being a Christian private school you would think they would have more compassion and empathy. The name is called ‘Compassion Christian Academy’ but they have shown no compassion towards my child. My child was denied for the most smallest excuse “He did not complete his work during his 1 day trial attendance”. First of all, it’s his first time there, he was nervous. I asked him about it and he said he didn’t understand the work and was too nervous to publicly ask the teacher because he doesn’t know the teacher yet. And that’s literally the response I got from the school, he was denied because “he didn’t do class work” and titled it a “behavior”. I called multiple times and they ignore my call and I’ve emailed them 3x, no response. I later came to find out they are judging off of hearsay information about my son’s struggles and made a judgment decision without full knowledge. It’s sad when the parent tries to seek a positive safe environment for their child who’s different, and yet my child gets judged and dismissed so easily. Being a Christian school you’re not very welcoming and empathetic. Everyone I showed your email response to said it’s not very Christian like and your child is probably safe not attending there if the school is so quick to judge so harshly without compassion.

I just realized , I have never posted on here. Coming from a "helicopter mom" yup I said it - (: its ok I have been called worst :) This is by far the best christian school around, granted our options are slightly limited for THIS type of environment , affordable private education. I however, used to drive 40 minutes to south scottsdale previously. I would be happy to still do that today, if it was not because God gave these people the opportunity to open this school. The curriculum is second to none, and yes! they will review it and adjust it if needed for the subject matter. Bottom line best school environment and educational curriculum in our area. Your are looking at this review, so somethung is calling you for a better place for your children. Don't leave an action to do for tomorrow , when you can do today. Life is full of the unexpected. We love our school. Great teachers and curriculum that parents can understand. Such a loving environment to have a child in everyday.

CCA is a huge blessing! Our kids get excited to go to school every morning and have many amazing experiences to share at the end of each day. God is doing amazing things here! The staff is very loving and are dedicated to meets the learning and developmental needs of every student.

We LOVE Compassion Christian Academy. My super shy daughter came from an online public school with 57 students in her class and was miserable. She was starting to hate school because she was not making connections with other kids. However, Compassion changed all of that. She is now happy, has made lots of new friends, loves being in a small class, and has an amazing teacher. Now she really enjoys going to school and is excited when I drop her off every morning!

We love the commitment of care and excellence that the staff has a shown to our kids and family. Compassion Christian Academy has been such a blessing!
