“I wanted to get a memorial tattoo as a tribute to my brother who recently passed. I am a hobby artist and it was really important for me to find someone who did both tattoos and painting. I wanted to be able to connect to the person doing this piece and really collaborate to come up with a design that both honored my brother and expressed my artsy style. Tariq was recommended by several artists on a Facebook group I'm a member of and I am so glad he was available. Tariq was awesome! I was super nervous and wasn't sure how exactly to approach designing this tattoo. Tariq walked me through it, was very kind and thoughtful as I described what I was looking for and the meaning behind it. He's got an infectious energy and enthusiasm for his craft and an easy going personality. I had my first session yesterday and I could not be happier with both the tattoo and the overall experience and I highly recommend him.”
