“I am a little slow at not posting this sooner, but I wanted to say how much I truly appreciate this group of Firemen. My husband and I both recently got the COVID virus and my husband kept falling in the house, thank God he was never injured from the falls, but I was unable to get him up. I had to call this wonderful group of Firemen to just get him off the floor. After the third time, they took him to the hospital. After a short stay he was sent back home, and once again he fell and these great men were back again for a fourth time! He was once again taken to the hospital where he stayed for a week. ( My wonderful neighbors took care of me, checking on me by phone, bringing me cooked meals, groceries, leaving at my door and telling me what vitamins I should take to lessen the symptoms of the virus. How blessed we are with our great neighbors!) Anyway I didn't know what we were going to do for help and Captain David Burch and Adam Stone were so helpful in advising me where to get help. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE SO THANKFUL FOR THESE WONDERFUL MEN. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU IN ALL YOU DO FOR PEOPLE.”

“These guys are awesome! I had a family of rabbits nesting in my backyard and this morning a large gopher snake had attacked them and was mingling around them. Animal control wanted $150 to move it. The fire department did it for free and enthusiastically. Didn’t make it seem like an inconvenience, even took the time to educate us on the animal and it’s importance to the environment and all they did was toss it over the wall. Made our morning and rescued around 5 baby rabbits from being dinner. These are the kinds of people this world needs more of.”

“Fire station 219 responded within minutes to a call made in my Neighborhood. They tackled the fire from three different angles preventing other homes from being affected. They did their best to contain this fire. Unfortunately, with the windy conditions and the size of the fire our neighbor sadly enough has lost a lot. “On August 18th, 2021, my family member became very ill ...calling 911, the Casa Grande Fire Department Station # 2 responded within a matter of minutes. As they walked in the door, his defibrillator activated...they were immediately caring for him and quickly and professionally stabilized him for transport to Casa Grande Banner Medical Center. His defibrillator then activated 6 more times once in the ED where he also received outstanding care from the ED physicians and nurses who were able to stabilize him again. He returned home 5 days after his ICU stay. We cannot adequately express our gratitude and appreciation for the compassionate and professional care we both received on that evening from the firemen who responded.....this being the second time we have needed this service with the same level of competence and caring being provided each time. I write this thank you with sincere gratitude and, yes, love . It is so comforting to know we have quick access to this level of care provision....my loved one has been able to return home ...and that gift of life is priceless. Thank you to all. Judy and Bob”

My mom knows how to change a tire, but she has back issues and is older, so she wouldn't have been able to change it on her own.
