“If I could give Lake Pleasant Assisted Living 10 stars, I would. My elderly Mom was placed in Lake Pleasant after being in another group assisted home for 7 months. The care and compassion at Lake Pleasant are EXCELLENT! From the beginning, the owner, Vanessa, has made sure my Mom’s room had everything my Mom needed to make her feel at home. My Mom enjoys looking outside through the glass French doors in her room, to the patio. My Mom has always felt uncomfortable “asking for help”. The staff at LP has an anticipatory methodology of stopping to visit and chat with the patients and tending to their needs. Most patients are quiet and the staff provides the social conversations and attention that feed my Mom’s soul. Her dementia has improved, her memory has improved, her BP has improved . She even remembers the staff’s names which was unheard of at the former home. My mom has laughed, and calls me with cute stories of the day’s events and is very vibrant coming out of her shell. . With the assistance of her PT, she enjoys using the putting green. My Mom shares stories of her life with the staff because they are attentive and listen patiently. My Mom calls her caregiver, her Angel. Such a blessing that I know my Mom’s health and social needs are being met and she can live out her remaining years in joy and peace.”

“This is the best gym I've ever gone to and probably the best kept secret in town in the way of gyms! Matt (the owner) is also the trainer for all members. He gets to know you personally and discusses your current fitness level and fitness goals. He then develops well thought-out, organized workouts for each day you plan to come in. Each workout is different from the last and different from everyone else's. The workouts are segmented into sets so you are easily able to see the plan for the session. He shows you how to correctly do each move and prioritizes safety and form above speed and weight. Matt walks around the gym guiding each member and lets you move at your own pace (which I find to be much more pleasant that working with a trainer in a person one-on-one session as I always then feel the need to rush). I have honestly never gotten bored working out at Matt's gym and always enjoy my time there (I typically go 3x/wk). Matt is very personable and approachable as are all of the members of the gym. There is a wide variety of members from young to older and of all body types and fitness levels. Everyone is friendly and the environment is comfortable (quint essential safe place in a world of otherwise not so gyms). The membership is a flat monthly rate and it is not difficult to start, pause or cancel your membership (unlike nearly all of the franchised gyms). The equipment in Matt's gym is top notch and there is just about everything imaginable there in the way of strength training. In the way of training, I consider this to be my forever gym.”

“I was pleasantly surprised with my first visit at Sonoran ENT, Oro valley. I was a new patient and appointment times with other ENT facilities were booked out 3 months. I called Sonoran and was able to get an appointment in 2 days! I had a severe water blockage in one ear. The office had all my insurance information ready when I arrived and even told me what was left on my deductible. The NP was very nice. she did an examination and determined I needed a thorough cleaning as I have narrow ear channels. After about 20 minutes I could feel the difference in my hearing. I was prepared for a long drawn out process to get my ears looked at but they were able to resolve my issue in just 2 days. Facility is very clean and the front desk personnel are nice.”
