Not only were they making every effort medically to help us have a healthy baby, they also went the extra mile when it comes to easing our concerns and giving us information that was so helpful and reassuring. I remember this specific moment that I was to the point of giving up and I was crying in the patient room to the Nurse. The nurse left the room and a moment later, Dr. Troche walked in to see how I was doing, mind you, that day was procedure day for him. “Dr. Benjamin is an excellent and extremely gifted surgeon! I recently had to have a very large ovarian cyst removed, along with the affected ovary, that is, a right Oophorectomy. I was in considerable pain before my surgery! Dr Benjamin's thoughtful and prompt attention for my care and well being was so encouraging and comforting! There was concern, of course, that the cyst might be malignant. Therefore, Dr Benjamin's expediency in getting my surgery scheduled was so very reassuring and very greatly APPRECIATED! There were no complications at all from the surgery. Thankfully, the cyst turned out to be benign. I am now recovering quickly and healing well! Dr. Benjamin was able to use the De Vinci robotic laparoscopic technique for my surgery so that it was minimally invasive. I was absolutely amazed at how tiny and insignificant the outward markings on my abdomen were at the entry points for the internal surgery. I doubt I will even have any noticeable scaring from the surgery. But, most significantly, the surgery to remove the cyst was 100% successfull! I have complete confidence and trust in the excetional surgical skills and competence of Dr Benjamin! I would definitely seek him out as my surgeon should the need ever arise again. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Benjamin to anyone neeeding any kind of Gynecologic or Gynecologic Oncology surgery! I think he is simply the BEST!”
