“I have been a member of Club eNRG since my very first visit two years ago. I lost some weight in 2020, but was looking for a place to get the toned body that I had always wanted. Barre cardio was the answer to my search for a low impact workout that got me trimmer and leaner. Every “problem” area is addressed with this workout. My core is more taut, biceps and triceps are more built, and my lower body is trimmer, higher, and tighter. I try to attend class 4-5 days a week, and all that work has improved my physique 100%. All of the instructors are sincerely the nicest, warmest people, and are all there to encourage and push me to be the best version of myself, mentally and physically. “When my Aunt Jane could no longer live independently at age 80, I was the "sainted nephew" who, along with a wonderful niece on my late Uncle Art's side of the family suddenly dropped everything we were doing to help move Aunt Jane. I had a full time job and 3 little kids in Arlington, VA, and I had to make a quick decision on selecting a safe and caring place to move my Aunt Jane. On one Sunday I visited 5 or 6 adult care homes in Tucson. As I arrived at Connie and Helen's at the end of a long day, I was pretty discouraged about the previous homes I had visited. But I was immediately impressed with Connie and Helen's Sunset Manor. One of the half dozen ladies that lived there was Olive, Connie and Helen's own Mother. That made a huge, positive impression on me as did many other aspects of their positive home and the apparent loving care they gave to their senior lady residents. I was quite impressed with their family room which had an artificial Christmas tree decorated for Valentine's Day! Connie and Helen said the tree got redecorated for each major season or holiday, to help keep their residents oriented to the time of year! Loved that! And my Aunt Jane, who lived there the last 5 years of her life, often remarked about what a lovely place I had moved her to, with Connie and Helen's adult children, grandkids and pets visiting regularly, which my Aunt Jane loved. She had never had children or pets, but she often told me how wonderful it was to be around so much activity, yet she could always go to her quiet private room if she was tired or needed a break. I highly recommend Connie and Helen's Sunset Manor!”

“I call it "the cruise ship"! Meals, activities, entertainment, great staff! All of the three buildings are beautifully decorated with comfort and stimulation in mind. We often hang out in the common area known as the living room. My parents are in Garden ridge for the past year. My father is in early stages of Parkinson's and lewy body with dementia which is reason for moving in. We take advantage of the assistance services from staff and Mom gets a little break with ADL for my father. They have made wonderful friends with residents as well as the caring staff. They have a great time in the dinning room socializing everyday! The dinning room is fun, the food is ok. Administration tries to keep residents involved and have weekly meetings with chefs opening up to residents suggestions. The apts are lovely with views,patios and space! We do wish there was more nursing staff available daily. Living in CA I'm grateful my parents are here and are taken care of with loving and caring staff. There's quality of life, kindness , caring and dignity at The Ridges in Peoria !”

Gave me the correct size cover up shirt w/o asking my size. Suggested a cover and later escorted me to the nurse station & since she was not there she stayed with me & gave me a warm cover & drink until the other nurse returned.
