“I understand there are many low reviews, but, if it wasn't for my counselor, I would be in a much darker place mentally without this center. My counselor has been helping me for over three years and has been amazing. Val Kemper remembered me after I moved away for a year and a half and then came back, and she placed me with my old counselor again. My psychiatrist also recommended Val Kemper, but I was already using their services. I have never had any issues with the facility, and I really don't understand the poor reviews it has received.”

“My first visit today. Was scared from a past dentist. I was chatting and laughing with a woman I thought to be the front office person. She was actually Dr.Denkha! She is so nice as well as her staff. They made me feel so comfortable. This is my dentist now!!!! Since my 1st visit I've had 4 crowns, a molar pulled, a filling and a cleaning. The only pain I had was a bit of a sore jaw from holding my mouth open. Dr. Denkha does beautiful work and has a gentle touch. I highly recommend this Dentist and her staff. She cured my fear. “Dr Tara Peyman and her staff are the gold standard for medical care! Before seeing Dr Peyman I suffered for 15 years while complying with the psych professionals and their cocktail of mood stabilizers and anti-depressants. “I had a wonderful experience here. It was very affordable considering all of the tests they ran. If you think you can get a cheaper rate with no insurance then you’re dreaming. I've never had any doctor ever run all the recommended tests they do, which all were very important to check your overall health and not just the reason you are there. Which was super important as I went in thinking I had a ovarian cyst on my left side and was causing pain, turns out the pain was coming from my right side all along and could potentially be appendicitis. Waiting to get my CT which they so graciously set up for me and gave me all the information I needed. Very thankful I went here. Would recommend to anyone!”

“I enrolled my boys, ages 8 & 9 years old, almost seven months ago with the goal to place them in an environment that will teach them discipline, self-confidence, respect, leadership, structure, adaptability, and release stress. My oldest son was facing challenging situations at school due to emotional, psychological & physical lack of skills he is now learning in this dojo. Sensei Langlais’ meets the leadership skills I was looking for as a role model and coach for my boys. Great leadership is about making others feel safe, build self-confidence, and give opportunities for growth and Sensei meets this criteria. Sensei Langlais fulfills his mission in educating and empowering his students to protect themselves and others. I love that they work to earn everything and their behavior at home & school are taken in consideration for them to progress. My boys are also learning, honor, humility, gratitude and accountability. I am also impressed with the memorial workouts and food drive participation as well the family participation with assessments and open dojo family workouts. There is a strong emphasis on the importance of family and Sensei truly cares for his students by following up with them on challenging days they either face at the dojo, school or at home. Another skill I find important is the discernment to accept and ask for help and this is encouraged at the dojo. My sons love going to the dojo and they both look up to Sensei, Kai, Emma and other dojo mates. I highly recommend this dojo for anyone that wants to build the courage to take on mental & physical challenges that will teach you survival skills and leadership.”

“Hubby fully went in to this experience knowing he had a severe hearing loss but not willing to spend the money for hearing aids. Well, we walked out with hearing aids! No pressure whatsoever. Just good solid testing that told us what we already knew. After testing out some aids and seeing how amazing the sound was, we opted for little less costly aids at a price we could live with and a 30-day trial that would get all but a $400 restocking fee back if he opted out before the 30-days. I think that was the selling point, that he didn’t have to lose his money if he couldn’t adapt to them. So far, so good! The criteria is he had to wear them a minimum of 10-hours a day. First day a little rough trying to figure out what volume we needed and in his words ‘everything is SO loud.’ 😬 But his brain is finally connecting to his ears and we are almost a week in and they are in every day except for shower time. No more him shouting ‘I. CAN’T. HEAR. YOU!!!’ every time I try to communicate with him. Ascent answered questions promptly on a day-after follow-up call from us, and then called us two days later to double-check how we were doing. They promise service every step of the way and we will hold them to that. Our technician Stacey was understanding of our concerns throughout the entire process and a pleasure to work with. Hubby is making this work for both of us!”

“This is the best one I’ve been too! This old building is super cool. I set up an appointment and got in at the time of my appointment. Everyone was so kind and it was a really fast experience. There are tons of comfy chairs to sit in as well as a kids area behind a wall to block the sound. I probably wont ever go to another one. I will say, there aren’t many signs outside saying where it is but it’s in the building closest to McDowell.”
