“I've lived in Sun Villa for about 6 1/2 yrs, and I enjoy my apt location (there are six courtyards). The apts are on the smaller size (one bedroom - 550 square feet) but since I'm partially handicapped the smaller space makes it easier for me to clean. Besides, I can only be in one room at a time. However, because of the small space, it gets a bit messy when you don't have storage on the property. I have a couple of hobbies which take up more space than I have. We all have patios in front of our apartments. I love using mine as it's peaceful. Sometimes people walk by and sit for a while. Impromptu conversations are the best. The pool is always beautifully kept. We're also able to participate in activities hosted by Fountian of the Sun and their volunteers. Sun Villa is located inside a larger 55+ community. It's a golf course community, along with sooo many other things to do.We feel safe here because we are gated and guarded. FYI: there are issues living here - the place isn't perfect...but do you know of any complex/HOA where they don't have issues? Sun Villa is not for everyone. If you want to park your vehile in a covered spot then this isn't the place for you. SV is a central mail delivery location - that means we don't get mail on Saturdays. If that's an issue for you, then look elsewhere. I really do enjoy living here, and I plan to live here for many years to come. Are you going to be my neighbor?”

The property is well maintained, very quiet, friendly neighbors and very professional management. Hannah, the property manager is amazing, she's very helpful and really takes interest in others opinions, she's smart, very very caring, will help you in any possible way that she can, she's absolutely beautiful and loved by many in the community. Yeah the rent is a little expensive but where else are you going to find better quality apartments for cheap? It's all because of inflation but that's neither here nor there. Anyways I love where I live and plan on staying here for many years to come and I highly highly recommend coming in to speak the Hannah about getting a unit. Again she's so amazing and helpful an will work with you if you have any problems or concerns.”

“Pictures do not do this place justice. Stunning desert landscape views from every turn. Grounds are impeccable and the neighborhood is very secure and private. Just from our backyard, I saw birds of prey, bunnies, coyotes and even a bobcat in the distance! Pets are not allowed but that might be a good thing! Residences are spacious, luxurious and fully stocked. My unit in particular (Hogan) had bakeware, board games, an Apple TV, baby walker & 4 fireplaces. Clubhouse amenities are limited due to Covid but you can still order breakfast/lunch at the restaurant. Housekeeping is currently every other day. We had the in villa massages and I would definitely recommend them if you want to treat yourself. Countless golf courses & hiking trails nearby. A lot of dining options ranging from special occasion to casual a short drive away. You definitely need a car because it is a little isolated but worth it. Seeing wildlife from our "spool" (aka hot tub) really made the trip. We were very comfortable here and I wouldn't hesitate to return again.”
