“UPDATE APRIL 3 2021. Family visiting from out of town and had lunch. As expected for a sunny, warm Saturday afternoon the place was packed. Didn't matter. Service was great, prices are still reasonable and the food is tasty. I had the fish sandwich which was served with a good amount of tasty crispy fries, and tartar sauce. The draft beer was served cold and the price was good. Note that it's "seat yourself" and they try to accommodate everyone so if you're concerned about social distancing you might want to visit during off-peak hours because it can get a bit tight. This was our fourth visit. Yep, it's that good and that much fun. Many of the locals dress up in western wear. We stopped in for a quick round of cold draft brews and a coupla apps - meaty fries and outstanding hot wings, which were plump and with just enough heat. Beers were served wonderfully cold on a day when the temp was 84 degrees and the humidity very low.”

“I am a native Illinoisan of 23 years and I must say, Chicago's Original definitely scratches the itch!!! My fiance and I split a thin crust sausage pizza, a pizza puff, and an Italian beef sandwich. She loved her puff, it's the exact same ones we got growing up. The cheese and sausage on the pizza were top notch, and tasted just like home. The beef was amazing too. I had to drive 15 minutes home before I could eat it, but the bread was of such a quality it didn't get mushy or anything (despite the fact that the sandwich was dipped). 10/10 on the food. There was a very professional young man running the front counter when I picked up my food, too. He read back everything to me, and was very methodical. It is much appreciated. I can't wait to go back!”

My husband is not very fond of Italian red sauce. Many options for red free zone. My meal , Eggplant was delicious. We are from Massachusetts with the North end and of course I'm Italian. This is a cozy place with delicious New Mexico inspired food. The decor is designed to reflect a cavern as its a play on Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. “Was a beautiful day for an outdoor breakfast. We had the Joe's big breakfast and side of biscuits and gravy, definitely enough to share between two of us and still had some left over! The gravy on the biscuits was flavorful, could've used a bit more pepper (which I could add myself anyway) but its filled with plenty of chunks of ground sausage to give it a nice kick. The pancakes were fluffy, sweet and even had little crispness on the edges.. these pancakes expand in the stomach so eat them quick before it hits you. The potatoes are great too, with the herb seasoning and skin on the perfectly bite-sized potatoes. Amazing meals at Joe's Farm grill or Joe's BBQ every time, the atmosphere at both, their charm and friendly staff makes it our go-to places.”
