“The Elote Man was a hit!. Everyone at our wedding loved the food truck and all the different types of flavors and snacks. We chose a catering package that included cups or cobs of corn, loaded nachos and elote dogs - all of it was great. The staff were so sweet and accommodating. “My friends and I came here for a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. We had seven people total and did four people to one pot and three people to the other. For the three of us, we got the two flavor base and a bunch of add ins. We all paid for the self serve sauce making station. If you have never done hotpot before, I highly recommend reading the review on Tucson Foodie posted by Jackie Tran. It outlines what you should expect, how to order, and what to get. We will definitely be coming back, though probably only for a special occasion because of the cost per person.”

“A really nice atmosphere. They have numerous types of sauces. The red one in the picture is jalapeno ketchup and the light brown on is what they call a fry sauce. They have homemade chicken nuggets which was really good. The bar/waitress was super nice and attentive. We also got there 1/2 pound toso burger with bacon and the chicken philly sandwich.”

“Carne asada burrito was down right tasty. We are from our of town, but stopped here on a whim after trying to find a good little lunch spot. Was pleasantly surprised. The portions were reasonable, and salsa(s) provided on request. Had some good drink options too. Would stop by again if we had more time in town. The eating area has nice shaded coverage (as shown in photos), and you get a nice breeze blowing through here and there. “The only negative thing that I can say is that it is a typical truck stop restaurant, in that it's prices are about 25% higher than normal. I am sure they are charged a higher rent, so they have to charge more, I just think it sucks that they charge truck drivers, the people that see their kids less than anyone else, save soldiers, the people that get everything that we need to survive, to where it needs to be, the people that work 14 hours a day(at least, that is what they can log, I know some that work 18 hours a day), usually 6 days a week, or 28 out off 30 days a month, and so on... For those people, they give limited options for food, so that there already prone to be bad health, gets even worse, and they charge them more. When I was a student driver, I spent 20 days, living off of $100, and when I got into the truck with a trainer, it was 2 weeks before I got another $100. After that 30 days on the training truck, I spent the next year, making about $2,500 to $3,000, but 8 was in debt and had a lot of bills to pay( which is why most people get into Trucking) and I kept about $500 of that. About half of that went to running the truck, so I lived off of $250. That is less than $10 a day. My footlong sub was $11. See what I am getting at... Pilot, TA, Luvs.... Help these guys out. Your profit margin is killing them.”

We were extremely happy with our service from him today and hope his manager gets this feedback. We had to wait a little for some fresh chicken tenders for our family meal but it was so worth it. “We ordered from here the other day, weekday and it was great! Today, not so great. Noodles were overcooked. Chicken low mein was not very flavorful and even the chicken tasted over cooked. The soup was good, the spring roll not so much (doughy center and hardly anything in it. Even the little bag of "chips" tasted stale and very oily. The best part of my meal today was the fortune cookie. Very friendly service and the facility is very clean and inviting. Consistency on the food seems to be way off though. “Stopped in for breakfast around 830am. It seems I beat the breakfast rush, people began arriving rapidly about 9am. I wasn't sure what to order, this being my first time eating here, so the waitress gave me plenty of time to review the menu. I ordered the chicken fried steak skillet with over-easy eggs, wheat toast, and coffee. The service was excellent! My coffee was kept full, my food arrived timely and hot. I was checked on regularly. My food looked delicious, but I did find it to be a bit on the bland side. That is why I rated a 4 instead of a 5. I added salt and pepper to my skillet and that helped it some, but it was still lacking. I noticed the patrons to be mostly of a mature age, so I attributed the lack of season to their attempt to please this crowd. The food was edible, just lacked a little flavor for my liking. I'll return another time to try their lunch/dinner options.”
