“Scorpion Bay Grill is really an excellent experience, especially given the fabulous location and views! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, including a patio area for dogs. The food was delicious with a good selection of options to please everyone in our group. The one downside my party experienced was the wait-time and the overall lack of efficiency of the restaurant. Waitstaff seemed to be operating a little slowly, so it not only took over an hour to be seated, but it then took a decent amount of time to give our order, receive food, pay, etc. That being said, the food was so delicious, I am glad we waited! I will definitely return!”

“First time eating here. They open at 4pm on this Saturday night. We got there about 15 minutes before 4. There was already a line of people wait. I thought that must be a good thing. We got in and seated. They had live music already playing. I ordered the goulash with potatoes and red cabbage. The goulash is a special just on weekends. It was wonderful! Service was fast and friendly. If you're looking for some good German food, this is it. We'll be back for sure!”

The entrance to 1130 The Restaurant looked inviting, with several out door tables and propane heater. We opted for inside dining on this chilly evening. Cameron, our personable server, seated us and promptly took our drink orders. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered suggestions on what were his favorite items. I love when my server does this! Cameron returned with complimentary honey cheese bread and our house Cabernets - reasonably priced at $6.95. The menu offers a great assortment of dinner options, from steaks to pasta and salads and sandwiches.”

The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh. My grandson loves it and asks for it by name at least twice a week. It's reasonably priced as well. So if you decide to give them a go, don't be deturred by the seemingly endless line of cars wrapped around the parking lot for the drive through. You'll barely have time to whip out your I phone to play a game or check the stock market before you're up at the huts where the perpetually friendly kids await to take your order with the precision of a master sword maker. The menu was explained to us and we were able to sample several of the menu items. The food was absolutely delicious! It has a unique flavor using a scone for your sandwich instead of a bun or bread. They have several mini cinnamon dough or honey glazed dough for dessert. I had fried potatoes with my hamburger scone sandwich and they were delicious as well!
