“When my daughter and I first met Sam we had been floundering, trying to get a solid foundation with our horses with other trainers. Sam turned everything around in record time. She assessed our strengths and weaknesses immediately and then put us all into a program that gave us the skills and a much-needed sense of direction to really get the most out of our horses and ourselves. I have since gone to dressage and wanted Sam to continue to coach me but, in typical Sam manner, she put integrity ahead of income and told me honestly that she couldn't devote proper time to such an endeavor and still meet the needs of her other students. (As an aside, my new trainer knows Sam by reputation and has seen her work horses a few times and also thinks very highly of her). Lucky for me, my daughter is still with Sam so I get to visit with her and watch her work- it is always a delight and a learning experience. As for my daughter, she is now not only achieving her goal of being an accomplished horsewoman (High Point her fist time out with her new partner at a regional show!) she has blossomed with confidence, strength, savvy and sense of self that is just a joy to witness. Sam is more than a skilled and ethcial trainer; she is a smart, driven business woman, a HARD worker, and a wonderful, caring mentor for the students under her tutelage. I would recommend her to anyone (beginner through advanced) who wants to take their skill set and relationship with their horse to the next level.”

“Wow! What a great experience! I was looking to do some horseback riding while my mom was in town and I'm so glad I picked Arizona Horseback Adventures! I called on Sunday and was able to get the day I wanted. We booked early morning to beat the heat. Jamie was our guide and she was awesome!!! “The ride is amazing, you have an actual Wyoming cowboy guide you. He is caring and thoughtful, makes riding for inexperience riders so much easier and fun. The horses are well behaved and beautifully taken care of. We got to brush ours before the ride to get acquainted with them and learned a little bit about their care after the ride. I'm highly recommending Sadie Acres Ranch, a must do if you are looking for a bit of safe adventure.”

“Troy and his team run an professional organization with well cared for horses and tack. Upon arrival, they have a good selection of helmets, clean bathrooms, waters, and an easy yard to mount up. Unlike most trail rides, these horses are well fed and maintained. The horses are more than just a commodity to these people, and it’s evident that Troy and his team take excellent care of them. The trail ride itself is beautiful, and provides enough variation in terrain to keep things interesting. The highlight is crossing the river with the horses! My group really enjoyed the cowboys who guided us through the desert. They were all hilarious and made the trip enjoyable. They are able to accommodate a large group of people for anyone looking to do a group event. I can’t recommend this enough. Thank you for a wonderful experience!”

“Hands down one of the most amazing trail riding experiences I’ve ever encountered. Mike over at AZ trail riding provided an exceptional experience. It was a completely relaxed ride regardless of rider experience level. Seeing so many wild horses was such a gift.
