“So Dr. Jarrett is my vocal coach and she is amazing. I wanted to actually learn to sing and not just a few songs. My previous place didn’t want to teach me the science or technique behind it but Dr J is a stalwart in making sure you know what you’re doing and why you’re doing it and how the body does it. I wanted to get back to singing as an adult because I used to be in choir and was a good singer, well 18 years and some combat tours later, I have some hearing loss and other issues, but Dr J has been gradually getting me to hear correct pitch and match it again and I’m no longer scared to learn something I thought was going to be impossible to relearn.
