Sincere client service. Very efficient. Never missed a beat...from receiving the body until the internment. They even provided bottled water on a very sad and Hot Day!
Recently, I had the experience of traveling down south to minister to my cousin while she was transitioning from this earth to be with the Lord!. When she finally passed, We were shocked and devastated by her untimely death. The truth is we were filled with all type of emotions in the planning process. We, as a family didn't know who to call or what to do. We were out of towners and had never dealt with death before. Someone inside McDonald's Restaurant, while we were eating breakfast and attempting to process the loss, overheard us in conversation and told us to contact Wolfe Brother's Funeral Home.
One phone call and immediately we made arrangements for our loved one to be picked up from the hospital and transported to the funeral home.
When we arrived at Wolfe Brothers to discuss the arrangements of Annie's home-going, we were greeted with such care and compassion. They asked us questions; the right questions. They cared about what [we felt] was important to [us] and even [Annie]; given the circumstances.
We decided we would do a small, intimate chapel service because Annie did not have burial insurance. Still, Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home took good care of us and all our needs. They sat with us until we were able to figure things out. This was a very stressful time for us all, but because of Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home's expertise and empathy, Our cousin was buried in a dignified manner.
Death is hard, but we were extremely pleased with the service they gave us.
God Bless these guys! Keep working hard! The African American community needs more people serving the community like these gentlemen.
