What I really enjoy about this park is that it's a very good sized park that is subdivided into 3 other little sections for the appropriate ages. I also like that this park isn't too overwhelmingly large and although it is a good size park you still have a good 360 view of where the children are. It's too cold right now but there is a little splash park for the kids that is amazing in the hotter days especially in the summer. I've gone to several birthday parties here and I always enjoy myself. There's a baseball field and community center adjacent to the park itself.
Best park for children, dog walking and sports. Also good place to burn as long as you're away from people. Tons of activities to do on Castro Valley Recreational Centers website.
Nice little Park. Lots of space. Tennis courts, barbecue area, children's play area with a water cannon feature that looks marvelous. We come here at night once in awhile to hang out and the deer roam in and around through this park at night. War Memorial although I'm not military but it is very touching and powerfully moving.
As a kid I used to come here and play at the park. As a grown up I have a new found respect for the community center. Watching as my buddies kids have fun on the same jungle gym that we used to play on.
Different sections to the park allow for different ages/play types to play safely. There is a gated area for smaller children, which is where my toddler spent the most time. The park has water pads, which look incredibly fun as he gets older.
