I couldn't recommend IronHorse VetCare more. Compassionate and genuine - from reception to doctors. I have kitties with specialty medicine ongoing issues as well as urgent needs (from time to time) and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Every time I go in I am greeted by my name with a huge smile! They do a great job of making pet owners feel comfortable and their surgeons are the absolute best in town. I highly recommend IronHorse VetCare if you need help for your fur baby.

They are prompt and professional and very affordable for an emergency hospital. It's nice to have a hospital of this caliber in our area. Thank you Ironhorse!!!!

(February 27, 2019, 9:01 pm)This is my family away from home. I have had several German Shepherds who get into trouble all the time. My go to place is Ironhorse and I know that my babies will be looked after. Renee McComb who is the practice manager is awesome. The staff is so welcoming and comforting (during those hard times). As to the care, it’s top notch. When I first brought my dog in, Dr. Harbujak did not push for surgery, even though he is an ortho surgeon. In the many years I have been going, I have always felt taken care of and in terms of emergency care, just top notch. When I had to put one of dogs to sleep, there was such compassion and I truly felt comforted. I feel that their prices are in par with other emergency vets, but I have insurance which greatly helps. I wish they were a regular practice but honestly, I feel that they do what they are best at. Please do not hesitate to bring your pets there, this is an excellent emergency care clinic and I must have been to every vet in the east bay. This is by far, the best care I have ever received for my babies.
