What a first impression!
Staff was super friendly and inviting and Dr. Hoover was amazing with his educating along the way and fabulous analogies to help me understand what was happening during the visit and with the results at the end. His recommendations, advice and referrals as needed were welcomed and appreciated! He made me feel at ease and confident in his knowledge and expertise! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND seeing Dr. Hoover, if in need of a periodontist!!!
I came to see Dr. Hoover after a disappointing experience with a prior periodontist. I have to admit the difference was night and day.
The problem with my prior office was that they didn’t listen to or communicate with me. I tried to talk about my experiences and ask about my options and expected outcomes and I was ignored and given the brush off.
From the beginning I felt heard. The preliminary paperwork even asked what I was looking for most out of the experience here. Everyone was friendly and appeared to be happy to be there, which an totally affect the experience of having work done.
Dr Hoover listened to me and discussed what our preliminary steps should be. I’m not a dental or medical professional, so I am not looking to dictate what needs to be done, but I want a discussion so I can make an informed decision.
Because my English is not good, I have to go to the office to make an appointment, it will be easy to communicate, when I saw a gentleman in the parking lot was about to leave from work, but he saw me coming, stood there and looked at me, as if he knows I need help, he came over and told me that he is a dental doctor here, (I'm sorry because my English is not good I forget the dentist name), He was kind enough to personally take me to the office and tell the staff to make an appointment for me.
When I went to check my teeth, the Dr. was very patient and told me about my teeth in detail. he even used the computer to help me understand the knowledge of teeth with Google Translate. Thank you doctors and nurses, your kindness made me lose my nervousness about going to the dentist 😊

We had a unique circumstance in that my 10 year old daughter needed a periodontist. Dr. Hoover came highly recommended from our children dentistry office and he did not disappoint. He was great with my daughter (and me), spent as much time as needed, coordinated and communicated with her dentist, and took into account how to best work with her. If he is this great with her, I would recommend him to anyone
Very knowledgeable, and great bedside manner! His assistant, Jamie, and Dr. Hoover both had very calm and relaxed demeanor, which was reassuring to my daughter, who was very concerned about the procedure she needed to have. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Hoover and Jamie!
