Scotty received multiple awards from the county and state for his work, compassion and leadership helping people with Mental Health challenges. Scotty recently retired and was given a nice retirement event where members of his program and the community shared how helpful Scotty and Recaching Across had been in their recovery. Scotty still volunteers in the community by meeting members of Reaching Across and other organizations to support them. He also continues to work part time as a nurse.
