He has a good bed side manner, willing to talk to you not at you, although it can take a month or so to get in if you have regular appointments then that isn't a problem. He did my surgery in January 2017 and I see him every 3 months including x-rays to few the spinal fusion he performed. He has even referred me to UCSF for a second opinion due to damage to my spine that cannot be fixed.”

Scotty received multiple awards from the county and state for his work, compassion and leadership helping people with Mental Health challenges. Scotty recently retired and was given a nice retirement event where members of his program and the community shared how helpful Scotty and Recaching Across had been in their recovery. Scotty still volunteers in the community by meeting members of Reaching Across and other organizations to support them. He also continues to work part time as a nurse. When Scotty isn't working as a nurse or volunteering he runs long distances and spends quality time with his immediate family including his son.
