(May 4, 2017, 11:47 am)Good selection of gift items, but surprisingly not as many birthday cards as I'd have expected for a card shop! Most cards were over $5, which is too much when needing to buy several. (The economy line had very few to choose from.) I had a coupon from Hallmark, the cashier couldn't figure out how to enter it - surprising as it didn't appear complicated - so I just gave up on the $5 savings. Store itself is pleasant, clean, and relaxing to stroll through. Good location, but challenging to get out of the parking lot at peak times! Salesperson was polite & courteous. Pretty costume jewelry sold here as well, so it's really a one-stop shop if a quick gift is needed!
(April 3, 2017, 5:35 am)One of the biggest reasons that I shop here is that when I go to a birthday party or a whatever party most people stop at safeway to get their cards. I have been to parties where I picked up the same card as someone else, embarrassing.
When I shop at Barbara's I NEVER have that problem.
