Awesome service with fair prices! I highly recommend this shop. They diagnosed my signal problem and had it repaired in just a couple of hours. While there, I met a few other customers who have had different repairs done. If you need work done on your car, I’d call here first
Friendly and communicative staff. 2nd time I've brought a vehicle here. 1st time was misgap with electrical system and it needed to be taken to dealer so shop couldn't help. However. They really shined this 2nd time around. My sons car broke down 32 days after he bought it. Warranty kept saying they didnt want to cover it. Ira and Rafael were super helpful and patient with us while I fought with warranty dept. They have had car for almost a month and have been in constant contact. Especially Ira! She is absolutely to deal with! They have definitely earned my business for anything needed in the future! Thanks for everything Rafael, Ira and Team!!!!
Cartech saved our family vacation and were so nice and accommodating doing it!
We (a family of four) had our car serviced before a recent vacation to the Eastern Sierra before leaving. Among other things, we had a rear brake job done. While passing through Livermore on a Saturday afternoon, the car began to vibrate with a very low frequency rumble - clearly something was wrong.
I called Cartech at around 2:15 pm and, even though they were scheduled to close at 4 pm they said come on in. They quickly identified that the parking brake had been overtightened, causing excess friction in the right-rear brake and damaging the rotor. They also identified that the front brakes were badly worn and, given the mountain driving to come, might warrant replacement.
They fixed the damage to the rear brake without charging any labor, just parts for the rotor replacement and replaced the pads on the front brakes for a very reasonable price. They test drove the car before giving it back to us and measured the temperature of all four brakes before signing off on the work. We were back on the road by 4:20 pm.
All through the process the owner and his children (it is a family run business) were as nice as could be.
While on vacation in the Sierras, we put the brakes through their paces over mountain passes via winding roads with long and steep descents. Through it all, the brakes performed flawlessly.
If Cartech were closer to where we live, it would now be our go to mechanic shop.
