See's Candies

They have candies here.

It's See's Candies at OAK. Just because it's at the airport doesn't mean any special like wrapping or limited edition stuff. Whatever you can pick up at the store you can get it here as well. Prices are a little more, but that sure beats being worry if they're going to melt or not. Good for travelers with last minute notice of someone's birthday or anniversary.

These candies are great to eat or give as gifts!

See's Chocolate has been around since the early 1900's. The only time as a kid that I would get See's is when we went to Salt Lake City, Utah as my hometown didn't have a store. It took me a long time to find out that this was a business started in California.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons that this chocolate always takes me back to my childhood. The chocolates are some of the best quality American made. I have often taken these chocolates abroad to give as gifts.

Today it was just to hard to walk by the small store and not purchase a box to eat while on the plane.

This is a small shop inside the airport. The staff is friendly and kind. The store has all the same chocolate gift boxes that you get at any other See's store.
