To be honest, our daughter who is friends with Erich suggested we work with him -- but we are sure glad we did! We were looking for an exchange property, and had our eyes set on a condo. Throughout this complicated transaction with multiple ups and downs, Erich managed the entire process exceptionally well. We always got the information we needed to make the best decision. We felt like we got great customer service from him. Our purchase got complicated a few times because it was a new building. It was frustrating at times because of the delays and other issues. Erich looked out for our interests throughout the process, though and did a good job of making it easy on us. Also, we were far away so he took on a lot of the logistics and day-to-day meeting of inspectors and contractors to facilitate. Overall, he did an excellent job.
I attended the House Hack in the Bay Area v2 seminar, and was very impressed by the level of information that was provided. The seminar had a diverse set of speakers (Agent, Lender, Property Manager, Tax Expert, Legal Expert, etc.) and the information provided was great if you are interested in trying to house hack in the Bay Area. Erich did a great job leading the seminar, and was extremely generous with his knowledge in a follow up phone call after the seminar. Erich is clearly an expert in Bay Area real estate, with the highest level of integrity, and I would recommend him to anybody looking to house hack in the Bay Area.
Erich is an all-star and an absolute gem. I was looking for someone patient, knowledgeable, and easy to work with – and I found it. Initially, I was looking into single family homes, and overwhelmed by the prices in the East Bay. Then, I started reading about House Hacking. It sounded like a clever way to reduce costs, but I didn't know where to start. It also looked like a lot of smart people felt like that was the best way to make your first home purchase. But, I didn’t exactly know how to make it all happen. Then, Erich and I started working together. He gave me everything I need to make informed decisions. Together, we ended up finding a duplex that was just absolutely perfect for me! It’s a beautiful house, and we just closed on it. Professional, calm, knowledgeable, and relaxed, Erich was there for me the entire way. Now, I get to own a property of my very own, AND pay less each month that I was renting. That’s a good deal for me. Thank you, Erich and House Hacking.
Erich is super knowledgeable, friendly and wants to help people make smart decisions with their money. I attended their How to House Hack in the Bay Area seminar, and I was floored! They had great presenters, and candid, useful information. I later spoke with Erich on the phone. Even though my goals differed from his business, he was super generous with his knowledge. He encouraged me to invest out of state, as he felt it was a better fit for my needs. He’s super honest, and trustworthy. I recommend him to anyone! Great job!
I met Erich at his House Hacking event in Oakland. There were a lot of really knowledgeable and amazingly qualified professionals and the information level was extremely high! As a realtor, Erich has been informative, helpful and always willing to help me as I pursue various investment strategies. Erich is patient, kind and thoughtful. House Hacking East Bay is a great company also and I really appreciate how focused, clear and defined their mission is. Great job, everybody!
Thank you so much and looking forward to seeing you at the show ;~)
