Really pretty trail with friendly hikers and bikers. Not many benches and many roots and rocks to watch out for.
Wonderful walk thru the redwoods (although not the iconic ones but impressive just the same). Not allot of views of the vistas but territorial glimpses of the forest and trails. Lots of dog walkers here but once you are half a mile past a main trail head you could find yourself peacefully alone.
Mountain biking. Super popular bay area destination. MTBers are usually very courteous. Be careful hiking up steep rocky trails.... its guaranteed a mtn biker will at some point pass you during a fast bumpy decent. They cannot stop or make sudden moves. Keep your dogs and kids out of danger.
Great trails that are safe to hike alone. Lots of hills and trees and beautiful surroundings. Good place for a workout or to spend time in trees or to sit and relax. Too many loud packs of scary bikers on trail. Be prepared to suddenly jump out of the way of a speeding cyclist.
Beautiful trail with lots of shade but watch out for mountain bikes! I started at the entrance to the Sequoia Bayview Trail on Skyline Drive and at that location there were no restrooms. Also parking is on the side of the street. Lots of trees which are beautiful but they make it difficult to see the bay views. There were also some beautiful flowers, butterflies, and a garter snake!
