(July 6, 2018, 7:49 pm)Palos Colorados Trail is a beautiful path through a steep canyon with a mixed forest including redwoods, oaks, and bay trees, and year-round cascading waterfalls. It is not a beginner's trail. One should wear appropriate shoes.

(January 31, 2016, 1:09 pm)Absolutely beautiful hike. We went after some rains and walking along the creek means many many small waterfalls. Prepare for mud if it has recently rained. Dogs allowed, and while there are signs that dogs have to be on a leash, everyone had their dogs off leash, and it seemed to be no big deal, which was great for us. We happened to come upon millions of ladybugs mating! Totally cool.
