I am Cambodian and moved to the Bay like 13 years ago and couldn’t find an authentic Cambodian spot until I came across Cambodian Street Food like 2 years ago!
If you want authentic home style Cambodian food this is the place to go!! If you’re thinking whether to go or not. Don’t think any further, GO! I could not recommend this place enough!
The food is really good here.. I live down the street and love going here.. They are very very family oriented.. You will see the kids and grand kids helping out in the kitchen. There was a man who owned that place before them for over 20 years and sold really great Chinese food so we were worried about who would take over. These people fit in just fine and have really brought a sense of community with them.
Excellent. The food is made to order so unless you call ahead, your gonna have to wait a little bit (which was fine with me, I wasn’t in a rush). Ordered chicken on stick with skrimp fried rice, egg rolls, and Cambodian coffee. Everything was fire and I came back literally the next day. Chill spot slightly off the beaten path that’s well worth the visit. I will be back.
One of my favorite Oakland spots I stumbled upon about a year ago!
Everything here is made fresh to order with excellent ingredients and comes out hot and delicious. The service is excellent - all the staff members remember our names and checked on us multiple times.
We ordered a beef stick, chicken stick, papaya salad, dry fried ribs and a spicy meat dish similar to a curry you dip and mix with rice and fresh veggies.
Don’t get sticker shock for the price - the portions are VERY generous, one entree can easily feed 2 people.
If you’re in the area you gotta support this amazing local business - thank you everyone at Cambodian Street Food!
Staff is always really friendly, food is fresh and made to order, so you get a hot fresh meal everytime. Beef and chicken sticks, super yummy, the rice and chow mein were also great. Also tried a thai ice tea, and it was refreshing. Found my new neighborhood eatery!
