  Good environment, like the wooden tables and benches. The kimchi pancakes you don’t want to miss. It more crispy than others I ever had. The mushroom soup is great if you don’t want meat. The soba cold noodle is amazing! The fried chicken is also great.

  Everyone can make soft tofu soup but not everyone can make it just right. This place makes it just right. I make the soup myself at home and I can match some Korean restaurants but not this one. A good Korean soft tofu soup has a complex taste. It has so many layers. The ratio for the amount of soup and tofu has to be perfect. The meat can’t steal the show. Here, even the containers are right. They will burn your fingers long after you have finished eating. If it is easier to find parking, I would definitely come more often.

  Visited bay area and decided to hit up a soon tofu place. Had to street park and it seemed like a busy street.
  Menu: Four Banchan, good kimchi. Both spicy seafood tofu soup and biji soup were good. I loved their fully crisped rice too; they have an option to pour hot tea over it, so definitely try that out.

  Overall good experience, good service. Their barley tea was not very good:(
  I got the seafood soft tofu soup extra spicy and it was barely spicy:( it gives you a good amount of seafood and the flavor is really good though!! But for the price (something like 19.99) not much value

  I don't usually order "Kimchi jeon" at a restaurant but their Kimchi jeon was so good. I ordered Soft Tofu soup and Kong Gooksoo as well. So delicious! I never had a Kong gooksoo in the U.S. and I was so happy when I tried it. "yeolmoo bibimbab" and "kong gooksoo" are the my favorite dishes from this restaurant! (you can only try the "yeolmoo bibibab" at the Berkely location)
