“I use these pumps often. It is the cheapest flex fuel I've found in my area.Clean, well lite and always maintained. The only issue is it's located at a semi busy gas station right across the street from a store near lake Merritt, so some times people will use these pumps as a parking space when the street parking is limited. So that means i have to wait near empty cars to get my gas. Its not a maned station so its no one to stop these strays from blocking the pumps. Although the gas station attendant is always helpful and polite it's nothing they can do. I think maybe cameras and a voice attendant at the pumps would discourage these parking violators.”

“My daughter took violin lessons with Kaila for about two years when she was 6-8. Kaila is a warm, fun, and dedicated teacher who helped my daughter become proficient with the instrument rather quickly. Kaila doesn't focus solely on technique but helps her students understand music as whole by writing songs, teaching notation, and performing. Learning to play a musical instrument is a long process that requires constant practice... so my daughter sadly began to lose interest in the process as she began to advance in pieces and technique that required longer practice times. She is now playing violin with her school's music program and hasn't made ANY progress (in fact I think she is actually getting worse) than during her time with Kaila. I secretly hope that she will ask to go back to Kaila at some point in the future... I'd sign her up in a second.”

“Great place to stay in Oakland on a budget. Cassandra is really nice and the proximity to the BART is really nice. Not in a great neighborhood though, so wouldn't recommend going out at night. Felt safe in the house though and the other guests were all friendly. Best part is that Cassandra bakes some times! Today I had peach cobbler tacos. :)”

“I recently enjoyed a return visit to Cafe Dejena with a friend after morning Mass across the street at Sacred Heart Church. As usual the eatery was inviting - it was clean and tidy and sparkled in the morning sun. The glass shelves were filled with all kinds of yummy baked goods that helped to whet the appetite. But my mind and tummy had already settled pancakes and bacon which arrived piping hot very soon after I had placed the order. The pancakes were just the way I liked them fluffy and covered with butter and I found the syrup just as enjoyable with just the right amount of maple sweetness. The bacon was flavorful, though the slices were rather thin for my taste buds. Nevertheless I washed it all down with a robust cup of coffee. In addition to such American food classics this place is known for its eastern African fare, which I will leave others to comment on.”

“We went to the outdoor patio wine tasting event at the Brooklyn Basin Rocky's Market on Sunday, enjoyed some smooth jazz piano and had the most wonderful macarons for dessert. So many delicious flavors to choose from. Alesia was so patient and helpful while we made up our minds and finally settled on espresso machiato, red velvet and honey lavender. I would recommend Woops! to anyone hosting an event. I can't wait for next Sunday!”
