Assumption School-San Leandro

I felt that it has brought me closer to my faith and will prepare me for high school.

This is my sons 3rd year and we love it. There is something really special about a K-8 private school. The overall moral code and Christian teaching are incredible. I’m so grateful that we have community, dedicated faculty & staff, and parent support! Especially with all the issues in the world. Our kids deserve high quality education, safety, and community this is what Assumption offers!

I have a third grader who absolutely loves this school, and we have been thrilled to find this gem in San Leandro. The educators and the parents we have met have been extremely supportive. We are lucky to have 2 administrators per class (a Teacher and TA) and the staff is absolutely committed to making sure each child thrives. Not only is our son excelling in reading and in math, he is expressing a social conscience that goes beyond his years. We expected this school to excel in academics (it is a Catholic school education- yet not exclusive to Catholics) but we did not expect the extra level of education that expresses kindness, compassion, leadership, and responsible citizenship in this dynamic and diverse community.

This a great school to consider for your children. They have great educators that provide a loving, caring environment for all children. They have morning assembly where they pray and recite the Pledge of Allegiance. I know many students who have done great in high school, college, and they attribute their success on the education they received at Assumption.

My family loves Assumption. Top notch education and teachers, active parent community, focus on building moral character - my kids love it.
